About Us
At Single Dads United, our mission is to support single dads with resources that promote their children’s success, strengthen their families, and help build legacies that last for generations. Across the country, millions of children are growing up without consistent father involvement, and this absence has long term impacts on families and communities. Today, more than 18 million children approximately one in four live in homes without a biological, step, or adoptive father.
Despite this reality, many human service systems and community programs remain primarily mother focused, leaving fathers underserved and often overlooked. Single Dads United is committed to changing that narrative. When we think of fathers, we envision a plug that constantly needs to be connected to an outlet to create light and energy in every room. Fathers play a crucial role in lighting up the lives of their children and families, and our mission is to ensure they never lose that vital connection.
